RV and Bam Bam's winning streak

Within the last 5 races for the Supercross class, Ryan Villopoto has won 4 of them. RV seems to have a winning streak going, and does not look to be slowing down anytime soon. However, as Reed can attest, things can change in an instant during Supercross. Villopoto has not had much luck in St. Louis, everyone remembers his horrific crash in 2010 that ended his supercross championship contention. Where are the other contenders? well Dungey looked to be gaining speed during the last lap of the main event, but it wasn't enough to win. Do you think he can win in Daytona? We'll have to wait and see if Dungey can put an end to RV's winning streak. James Stewart was suppose to be in contention, but we haven't seen a very promising performance out of him lately. As for now it seems he's too busy being in a battle with Reed on Twitter. If you haven't heard about this, well you need to go follow them probably. Everyone has their opinions or thoughts, do not take it out of context and start "bullying" people around. It is the internet, your words are forever visible. As we all know Reed is out for the remaining rounds of supercross and probably the start of outdoors. He looked to be the only one to put a stop to RV's winning streak, he was hauling behind him and ready to contend for a win in Dallas, until he nose-dived into the sand section ending in a string of injuries. Who else could contend for a win? Brayton sure showed everyone he can ride in the top 3 and even hold off Villipoto for a while if he gets a good start. Davi Millsaps and Kevin Windham have also been showing impressive speed, holding onto top 5 results. Daytona always brings a different atmosphere to the schedule because its not in a football or baseball stadium but in the middle of a NASCAR track. Someday this girl from Pennsylvania will be attending that race and writing stories about what happens.
Until then lets move onto Bam Bam 1E. This boy is on fire, he is three for three on the east coast, and looks like he can't be touched by anyone else on the track. Barcia won the east coast championship last year, and looks to be starting the 2012 season where he left off last season. Although anything can happen in an instant, as he teammate Eli Tomac knows, that red plate looks pretty good on that 1E bike. Other's like Durham, Bogle Stewart, Baggett, and Roczen are the other contenders for the podium, but only Bogle, Durham and Roczen have really proven they can run up front with Bam Bam. Baggett was a favorite coming into the east coast, but has been plauged by bad starts and crashes that have not allowed him to show his full potential of speed. Could this 2012 Supercross season be all about the GEICO Honda team? So far the talk has been about the GEICO team, whether it is Barcia, Tomac, or Bogle. One downfall for the team is Decotis recently has torn his ACL right before his return from injuries to both of his ankles. This season has had a lot of ups and a lot of downs for riders, teams, and fans. You cannot say it hasn't been an interesting season so far, and there is plenty of more racing to come.

Anything can happen, and this championship could change within an instant.

leave some feedback!
